Wicked Cake Decorations That Are New From Silver Spoon!

I make a point of cooking with my 2 little sisters at least once a week, it gives them something different to do and I've started loving it myself now and looking forward to it big time. The Silver Spoon baking stuff has been on special offer recent and I've brought loads of it over the last few weeks for a nice change from Super Cook stuff..... and it's a bit cheaper too so bonus!!!

These Sprinkle Decorations are little coloured sugar balls, I think the other name for them is hundreds and thousands. You get shedloads in this little pot and they're dead easy to use because the pot has got holds in the top so you can dispense them through that if you don't need too many.

We made some cup cakes today and my 10 year old sister decided she wanted to cover ALL the icing with these little balls. It worked and the cakes looked WICKED when she'd finished. We put the icing on the cake as normal and then kind of rolled the rop of the cake in a pile of the balls that I'd put on a plate. The balls stuck nice to the icing and looked so good because the balls are all different colours like pink, purple, yellow, red and white. There are bound to be more colours that I've missed off that list but they're all the ones I can think of at the minute! lol

These balls look hard but are quite soft and chalky when you bite one, they've not got much taste of their own so it's not like you'd want to eat them unless they was on cakes or biscuits. They're a bit sweet but don't taste madly of sugar.... or anything actually, they're just decorations and you deffo don't add them for their flavour.

Recommended.... decorations that will make your cakes and biscuits look great!!!
