A long time ago I discovered coffee flavoured travel sweets and became addicted, but then they seemed to disappear. Whenever I go somewhere that sells travel sweets, such as motorway services or garden centres I always check their sweet stands just in case, but I haven't seen any for years. I happened to mention this to my daughter who also likes travel sweets, and she managed to find me a tin of Simpkins Coffee Flavoured Drops. I opened the tin and it was a real 'Oh, wow!' moment. An intense coffee aroma wafted out at once. They look, and smell like slightly translucent drops of strong black coffee - which is what they are really. I had to put one in my ...
