Advantages: A nice selection of flavours, good pieces of fruit, fresh tasting
Disadvantages: Fairly high in calories
When I fancy a yogurt I usually buy a pack of Weight Watchers yogurts or a few individual Muller Lights. This week though I noticed that packs of 4 Ski yogurts were on BOGOF in Tesco so I popped a couple of packs in my trolley.
My packs of Ski contained one of each strawberry, apricot, raspberry and peach yogurts and they are all my favourite flavours so I was happy.
Ski yogurts have a very thick and creamy texture that tastes very cool and refreshing. They all have generous chunks of the fruit they are flavoured with, the fruit pieces are not very large but there are plenty of them and they add a little bit of extra tastiness to the yogurt.
STRAWBERRY
This one is my favourite. It is a pale pink colour and there are lots of pieces of strawberry which have a nice fresh texture and taste lovely. It tastes of real strawberry instead of the synthetic flavour a lot of strawberry yogurts have.
APRICOT
This is a very nice yogurt and is white in colour with small soft chunks of apricots. It tastes lovely and creamy and I think apricot is the perfect flavour for yogurt because it gives me a taste that is completely different to most yogurt flavours.
RASPBERRY
I love this raspberry yogurt because it tastes of real raspberry and is very fruity. This one reminds me of the summer because it is such a light and cooling flavour. If I had one criticism about these Ski yogurts it would be that I find the chunks of raspberry a little bit slimy sometimes but this is just a matter of personal taste.
PEACH
Me and peach yogurts do not usually get on because I find most of them to be bland and flavourless. The Ski peach flavour is lovely though and is a very nice light peach taste that hits my taste buds as only a good quality peach can. The pieces of fruit in this yogurt are flavoursome and firm to convince me it is natural peach with nothing untoward being done to it in the manufacturing process.
So there you have it. Ski yogurts are delicious, full of fruit and good for me. They are all extremely creamy and have a lovely fruity flavour that is not apparent in a lot of other yogurts. The pieces of fruit are the clincher for me though because I think other yogurts have bland and over processed fruit chunks but I really felt the fruit used in these Ski yogurts is of a higher quality and certainly it tastes fresher.
Each Ski yogurt contains about 110 calories, which is not great for a yogurt when you can buy others that have half the calories but this is such a thick and rich treat that the extra calories are to be expected. A 4 pack will cost you £1.49 so you are always best to take advantage of any BOGOF you see for these yogurts.
Summary: Lovely summery yogurts.
