My boyfriend and I are both trying desperately to diet at the moment but unfortunately we both have a big sweet tooth - as you may have guessed given my tendency to review things like chocolate bars and Mr. Kipling's cakes! But we recently decided to get really serious about the dieting thing and to stop stuffing ourselves with fatty desserts. But our sweet tooths haven't gone away, unfortunately. We went to the supermarket today and were browsing around and decided to just have a look in the ice cream section. We weren't going to buy any ice cream, you understand, we just wanted to admire it and imagine ourselves eating some - you could call it window ... Read the complete review

It's that time of year when my fancy (at least as far as foodstuffs go) turns to ice cream and ice lollies in their various forms. This year my desire for frozen treats has been tempered by my attempts to develop a bikini body. And so I thought it'd be a summer without icy snacks until I spotted the skinny cow iced desserts in the freezers at the supermarket. I was a little dubious as the low cal, low fat versions of unhealthy snacks don't usually taste that great, but the lure of the "only 87 calories per stick" label and the fact they were on offer made me decide to risk the triple chocolate sticks. The triple chocolate stick is ... Read the complete review

Right, you may all think im mad reviewing chocolate ice cream in January, but i promise, there is a reason to this madness! As i may have mentioned (about a hundred times before) Im a little overweight. This new years, I decided enough is enough. I am going to lose the extra bulge to slim down for summer, for my health and for my family. So... Basically I am left with a dilemma. Im a greedy chocolate face, yet I want to look like Kate Moss. This is what led me to trawling the weight watcher sweets aisle one cold January afternoon. Having quite liked the hot chocolate, and seeing these reduced to £1 for 3, I thought id give them a go. Skinny Cow Triple Chocolate Ice Cream.... As a self confessed chocoholic I adore a good feast of chocolate most evenings and this is causing problems for my ever expanding waist. Since quitting smoking, I am wanting to eat more but truing to eat less. I found a good solution however and eating an low fat low calorie ice cream takes a good while and is far better than quickly polishing off a whole bar of chocolate. Skinny Cow are indeed perfect for my needs. The triple chocolate version is of course the best although I have tried both the strawberry and mint flavours. Luckily these ice creams are on offer at the moment in Morrison's and ... Read the complete review

Amazingly, we have been having a spell of very hot weather lately and as a consequence my thoughts have turned towards ice cream. As I have really been making a concerted effort to lose some weight and gain a trimmer figure though I thought I would have to be very strong willed and resist the temptation - that is until I spotted these Skinny Cow Triple Chocolate sticks in the freezer compartments in Sainsburys! I had been aware of the Skinny Cow products for a while, and I still can't decide whether I love or hate the name! However, my eyes were drawn to these because I saw a big 87 on the box and that was referring to the number of calories contained in each ... Read the complete review
