KP Skips

Description: Prawn cocktail corn snacks.

Newest Review: ... 60pence a packet in a little newsagents in London! For those that may have allergies Skips may contain Egg, Soya, Gluten and ... more

... mustard (!?) Now as for the taste, this is where I get a little lost. These crisps are Prawn cockatil flavour but I do NOT like prawns. I also don't partake in any other prawn cocktail crisps, just Skips. I have to conclude from this that these don't actually taste that much like prawns? Some may disagree but all I can say is that this flavour isn't bad. The crisps are little round discs that shaped sort of like a daisy (sorry bad description I know). When you pop one (or a handful in my case) in your mouth you can ...more

Premium Review KP Skips: half empty bag of crisps (180 words)

I have always loved skips, skips are little funny shaped savory snacks that melt in your mouth quite literaly. They come in a yellow bag which to be perfectly honest is quite decieving as the bag is usually less than half full when you open it which I realy think is a con, why cant they just make packets the same size as there content then we would know how much we were getting for our money before we have brought them and opened them. Skips are available in a few different flavours now but the original prawn flavour is still my favourite although I dont know why as I dont like prawns. They are nicely coated on both sides with ...  Read the complete review

I got these last weekend at the same time as I bought the Frisps. Having eaten them before though I knew precisely what I was getting for my money. Packaging. The Skips I purchased came in a multipack containing 9 packets of the Prawn Cocktail flavour. According to Wikipedia Skips are also available in Bacon and Cheese flavours but I can't say I've ever seen them. Perhaps I don't pay enough attention when shopping.... The multipack bag, and indeed the crisp packets themselves are predominantly yellows with the Skips name in red. The front of the multipack and the packets tell us that there are:- + No artificial ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review KP Skips: Don't skip these!! (369 words)

Recently, while looking for a midnight snack, I came across these at the back of my cupboard and, after having checked they were still in date, proceeded to eat them while watching the movie 'Labor pains' (I'll save my opinons on that for another time). Back to the crisps, however, and they were delicious. The packaging: Skips have, has far as I can remember, always had bright yellow packaging. On the front, the word 'Skips' is written in swirly orange bubble writing and there are several promises and claims including the fact that Skips now has 50% less saturated fat than they did in 2006, no artificial colours, less than 100 calories per pack and no ...  Read the complete review

I am not a big fan of crisps but when I do eat them, Skips are up there with my favourites. They are something I have not eaten in a while until recently when I saw them on offer in the supermarket and they are still as tasty as ever. The two things I like best about Skips is that they are unlike any other crisps available, they are unique with a distinctive taste. Also they are healthier than 'normal' crisps. Skips come in a yellow bag with red writing on, you can buy them as a single pack but I buy them in multipacks. They cost about £1.25 for a six pack and £2 for a ten pack. This is from Tesco. They are described as the fizzy, ...  Read the complete review

Wandering around my local Farmfoods frozen food store the other day, I was eyeing the multi-packs of crisps with very little interest. Nothing was really 'jumping out' at me from the shelves and I picked up several multi-packs and inspected them before replacing them back on the shelf. Keen to make a purchase of some kind due to the lack of crisps in our house, and due to my fiancé's need for snacks such as crisps during his working day, I eventually settled on a multi-pack of KP Skips and headed for home. This purchase turned out to be a very successful one, and the multi-pack is all but gone in a matter of a few days! I think the success rate is ...  Read the complete review
