I have always loved skips, skips are little funny shaped savory snacks that melt in your mouth quite literaly. They come in a yellow bag which to be perfectly honest is quite decieving as the bag is usually less than half full when you open it which I realy think is a con, why cant they just make packets the same size as there content then we would know how much we were getting for our money before we have brought them and opened them. Actually I usually run down to my local Farmfoods for a 12 pack of these corn snacks as they sell them for £1 there compared to the usual price of around £1.50 from other supermarkets. Skips are part of the KP Range which is in turn part of the bigger United Biscuits corporation. Of course KP have been well known producers of snacks including their famous nuts which have been around for over 50 years. This makes Skips a baby really who have only been around for just over 30 years although I guess any snack who lasts that long in times such as these where we are bombarded with new types of snacks every couple of weeks, has to have something going for it. INTRO I haven’t tasted KP Skips since I was about 12 or 13 (many moons ago) and on a recent trip to the supermarket I decided to pick up a multi-pack of Skips so my kids could try them and I could take a trip down memory lane. As I recall Skips where mighty tasty and I used to eat them with great gusto before my hormones kicked in and I preferred to spend my money on records, presents for girls and acne cream. The multipack cost 60p for six so that works out at only 10p per bag so on the value for money front they were a bargain. But how would they perform with my kids?
