Advantages: fun for kids as they make a crackling noise and tasty too!

Disadvantages: not many in a pack

I remember these as a kid they were my favourite crisps, not only because they were so fun...they taste great too.
These are a KP invention, a well known brand especially in the nut market! They came up with skips around 30 years ago.

Skips are prawn cocktail flavoured but dont taste as strong as normal walkers prawn cocktail crisps so those of you who arent fans of those you are guaranteed to get on board with these.

Skips come in a bright yellow foil sealed packet for freshness and now has skips across the middle of the packet in pink. Those of you who watch the waist line, you'll be pleased to hear that these only contain 89 calories per 35g bag...brilliant! But its not all so as they don't really fill you up that much, these are better as quick snack or to go with your sandwiches.

The skips themselves are pentagonal shaped and are a pale yellow colour. They then have lines of dark pinkish brown running from the centre outwards to each point of the pentagon. You can see the prawn cocktail powder nestled in the middle of the crisp and i like to rest this on the end of my tongue and you can hear the crisp fizzling plus you get all the great taste...this is similiar to what the children did in the animated advert skips put out. They fit into you mouth easily so you can shove as many as you can in there at one time. The taste of these crisps is so sensational and unique.

These fit great in the lunchbox as the packets are fairly small.

Skips cost around 35p for a 35g bag..one of the cheapest crisps and can also be brought in multipacks of 6 or 12 which can usually be found on offer.

Summary: Best crisps ever...fun for all the family!
