Advantages: Just yummy.
Disadvantages: Don't last long enough
I have always loved Skips and as I have got older that fact hasn't changed.
Skips are sold in single one portion bags and also multipacks of 6, 12 and 18 bags. Skips are normally displayed alongside potato crisps in the supermarkets however they are very different.
Skips come in a variety of flavours now but the original flavour is prawn cocktail. These, in my opinion, are the nicest.
Skips are described as prawn cocktail tapioca snacks and do not contain any potato, unlike the potato crisps that they are sold alongside.
One thing that skips advertise quite a lot is the fact that they are better for you than normal potato crisps. They are cooked in vegetable oil which mean they are lower in fat and they pride themselves on the fact that each bag only contains 100 calories.
Skips have a melt in the mouth quality and when you put them on your tongue they will slowly dissolve. However if you are anything like me they won't stay on your tongue long enough to dissolve completely because they are also quite crunchy. The snacks themselves are coated in a fine flavoured powder which gives the skips there prawn cocktail flavour. They are quite strong tasting and quite tangy.
Skips can be enjoyed by adults and children alike and are extremely tasty! If you haven't ever tried Skips go grab a bag. Don't be put off by the prawn cocktail flavour they don't particularly have a prawn or fishy flavour.
Summary: Really tasty snacks.
