Advantages: Great design, low in calories.
Disadvantages: Not strong enough for me.
Skips are a snack which are mainly comprised of tapioca and sunflower oil and always remind me of being a little girl and swapping with my best friend for these as they were light.
Skips are prawn cocktail in flavour and this is obvious as soon as you open the foil fresh bag which keeps the crisps fresh and lovely ready for eating. The sell by date on the packet I have is two months away so they'll last a while even if crisps don't go down often in your household (although they do in mine!).
The bag size is 25g and this is ample as a nice snack but probably not sufficient to fill a very big hole, especially if you are as hungry as I am! This will lead to either another packet being consumed or making something else to eat which for me just defeats the object of grabbing something quick and simple to eat.
The crisps are very tasty and melt on the tip of my tongue, I normally devour the whole bag in just a few mouthfuls as these are just too light to be eaten singly (in my opinion!).
I would recommend these, a great crisp snack for little ones as if they just put them in their mouth they will dissolve so no choking risk (hopefully!).
The best thing about these crisps is the 89 calories per bag, this is fantastic for crisps although there are 5.0g of fat so bear this in mind.
I got a multipack of 9 bags for £1.00 in Poundland.
I am rating these crisps 4/5 as I like my crisps strong and don't feel that the prawn cocktail flavouring was as strong as I would have like it to be.
Summary: I would recommend these, a tasty snack, just don't expect them to fill a hole!
