Advantages: Taste Great

Disadvantages: Packet seems to be empty before you know it

Skips always remind me of when I was younger. I remember getting them on the odd occasion in my lunch box. So being at mum and dads this week I decided to treat myself and buy a multi-pack of these.

I bought the pack from Co-Op that currently have an offer of 50% extra free so that's 9 bags for the price of 6. Then they also had them priced at £1. What a bargain!!

Over the years the packaging hasn't changed much. The bag is yellow foil with large red writing. It also has the skips promise and states that the have 50% less saturated fat with the same great taste and lastly it says they are made with 100% sunflower oil.

Skips Promise -

No artificial colours or flavours
Less than 100 calories per pack
No MSG

So opening the bag knowing that they are less calories and less fat than they used to be, I wasn't sure if they would still taste as good as they used to. Inside the bag there sat the funny shaped crisps covered in flavourings.

Still the same great smell still wafted out of the bag making my mouth water. I decided to eat one at a time to savour the taste. I placed the first one on my tongue and as if by magic it quickly melted. To my surprise they tasted better than I remembered with loads of flavour.

The only difference with them being less saturated fat is the taste better because you don't feel so guilty eating a bag.
