Advantages: Soft, Tasty
Disadvantages: None
I remember first eating these 'crisps' as a child, although back then they were shrimp cocktail flavour. The snack is actually made from Tapioca, which is a starch extracted from the root of the plant species Manihot esculenta. (wiki).
Availability
The snacks themselves are readily available in most good newsagents or supermarkets. You can also buy them in Multi packs. The ones I am reviewing at present were part of a Multi Pack and were bought for 99p for 10 packets, from Home and Bargain. This to me was really good value as you can pay upto 40p a pack in some shops.
Texture
The snacks themselves come in small flat shell like shapes. They willactually disolve on your tongue and give a lovely taste. I like to think the taste is like real Prawn Cocktail. I used to happily give these in small amounts to my children, because they were so soft, and I felt assured it would be nice to the insides of their mouths, rather than abrasive like some snacks can be.

Skips also give me a promise that there are

It is also keen to point out that the product contains Milk and is produced on a line handling egg, soya, wheat, gluten and mustard. They are also made with 100% Sunflower Oil and contain 50% less saturated fat than in 2006.
Ingredients
Tapioca Starch,
Sunflower Oil, (29%),
Maize Flour

Rice Protein,

Like with all snacks these are not really too good for you, but the calories are lowish and there are certainly ones out there, that are a lot worse.
For this reason, along with the fact that they have a nice texture and taste, I am writing 5*
Summary: Great Snack
