Advantages: They taste nice

Disadvantages: I pay too much for them

Skips are something I have been eating for a while now, although I can't actually work out why (hence the review). Now for those that don't know (although I can't image there are many) the packets are bright yellow and have the word skips plastered across the front in red lettering. They are better known I think for being one of the lesser evils in the crisp world due to the low calorie count (90 calories per pack), however, what I fail (or perhaps ignore) to notice is that each bag still has 5.1 grams of fat. I'm not that 'well up' on calories and fat counting but it still sound very high.

These are better brought in a multi-pack because they work out cheaper. Stupidly I don't do this and end up paying 60pence a packet in a little newsagents in London! For those that may have allergies Skips may contain Egg, Soya, Gluten and mustard (!?)

Now as for the taste, this is where I get a little lost. These crisps are Prawn cockatil flavour but I do NOT like prawns. I also don't partake in any other prawn cocktail crisps, just Skips. I have to conclude from this that these don't actually taste that much like prawns? Some may disagree but all I can say is that this flavour isn't bad. The crisps are little round discs that shaped sort of like a daisy (sorry bad description I know). When you pop one (or a handful in my case) in your mouth you can almost suck these crisps as they are soft and melty. All in all they are a nice bag of crisps that in a mulitpack work out at a reasonable price.

P.S Is it just me that favours the small bits of flavouring that get stuck in the corner at the bottom of the bag? This is the bit that I look forward to the most (I know I am strange)

Summary: be sensible and get these at the supermarket

The way they melt is wonderful, agreed. As to fat: actually 5.1g is quite low for crisps; for example, a small pack of Mini Cheddars has 7.5g of fat and a pack of cheese & onion McCoys a mighty 9.8g!

I agree the extra flavouring at the bottom of the bag is an added bonus
