KP Skips Description: Prawn cocktail corn snacks. KP Skips only have 90 calories per bag, so if you are looking for a lighter alternative to crisps then these might be worth trying. It is ages (years probably) since I have eaten these, I use to like them as a kid but then went off them a bit. A pack of these cost ...  Read the complete review

Skips are something I have been eating for a while now, although I can't actually work out why (hence the review). Now for those that don't know (although I can't image there are many) the packets are bright yellow and have the word skips plastered across the front in red lettering. They are better known I think for being one of the lesser evils ...  Read the complete review

I absolutely adore KP Skips. They are the perfect snack for any time of the day, or a side snack to a sandwich. Delicious yet light, you can have a full bag before dinner and not ruin your dinner, they're a 'keep you going' kind of snack, something to have while you're waiting for dinner. I've loved skips since I was a child, and I ...  Read the complete review

KP Skips One of my favourite if not my favourite snack foods are crisps. I love nothing more to tuck into a bag of crisps and up there amongst the best are KP skips. The most common flavour for these is prawn and cocktail but they also come in other flavours such as bacon and cheese and pickled onion although these are not widely ...  Read the complete review

I've eat these crisps for years and years. They were the first crisps my son ever ate because they're a great size for small hands and mouths and they melt in your mouth. I've always loved the unusual flavour and texture of these crisps. Skips crisps come in a bright yellow packaging with 'Skips' on the front, in swirly orange ...  Read the complete review

Recently, while looking for a midnight snack, I came across these at the back of my cupboard and, after having checked they were still in date, proceeded to eat them while watching the movie 'Labor pains' (I'll save my opinons on that for another time). Back to the crisps, however, and they were delicious. The packaging: Skips ...  Read the complete review

Skips are basically crisps however they are totally different from any other crisps in many way. I guess there something that people either love or hate but I know that I love them. They are prawn cocktail flavour which seen as I don't like prawns or that kind of fishy taste I didn't think I would like them and I'm not sure when I ...  Read the complete review

I am not a big fan of crisps but when I do eat them, Skips are up there with my favourites. They are something I have not eaten in a while until recently when I saw them on offer in the supermarket and they are still as tasty as ever. The two things I like best about Skips is that they are unlike any other crisps available, they are ...  Read the complete review

Kp Skips are made from tapioca ! The things you discover writing reviews for this site ! They were launched in 1974 and are Prawn Cocktail flavoured strange shaped crisps. They come in a handy bag shaped bag with the name Skips on the outside, the thing about these crisps I find is the way they totally disolve in your mouth, the ...  Read the complete review

My baby sister loves Quavers and Skips but I prefer it when she has Skips cos they're my favourites too. They havent changed in years and are still the same as when I was little and my mum used to buy them for me. To go with my Tapioca review of yesterday I thought of KP Skips, as they are infact made from tapioca starch!! The snacks are made by KP who also bring us Discos, Wheat Crunchies and NikNaks. Each pack contains just 89 calories and 5.0g of fat. They contain no artificial colours or flavours and no MSG. I love these as a guilt free ...  Read the complete review

I remember first eating these 'crisps' as a child, although back then they were shrimp cocktail flavour. The snack is actually made from Tapioca, which is a starch extracted from the root of the plant species Manihot esculenta. (wiki). Wandering around my local Farmfoods frozen food store the other day, I was eyeing the multi-packs of crisps with very little interest. Nothing was really 'jumping out' at me from the shelves and I picked up several multi-packs and inspected them before replacing them back on the shelf. Keen to make a purchase of some kind due to the ...  Read the complete review

These are absolutely delicious melt in the mouth crisps. They crunch and then fizzle away and melt to release tons of prawn cocktail flavour. Flower shaped and tangy they can sit perfectly on the tongue. The quick fizzing action means it's great fun, if disgusting to try and cram as many as you can into your mouth. I can still vividly remember the TV ad with the family where they're eating these and the dad comes out with that immortal line: 'Crispy things don't melt. They CRUNCH!' This clever little piece of advertising, which depicts these KP Skips to be a crisp that can 'melt' on your tongue, was the reason I started eating these. I'm a big fan of "lighter crisps" those with a lower fat and calorie content. However until the weekend I had not eaten a bag of Skips since I was at school. Skips brought out a new flavour, prawn cocktail, which has been stocked on offer in my local Co-operative in Nottingham. I'd like to review skips in general, but do need to point out the new flavour is altogether more tastier in comparison with existing ones. <--TheTaste--> Skips don't offer the strongest taste out there. ...  Read the complete review

For all of the love that Walkers may get, they're not a very original type of crisp. Skips, meanwhile, have a totally unique design, texture and taste that has only been imitated since. The most common flavour is the Prawn Cocktail version, although there are other variants such as BBQ (even if they do take some time to find!) From the ...  Read the complete review
