Smarties (Nestle Smarties)
Advantages: Nice taste Disadvantages: The colours have gone Smarties are little coloured sweets. They are drops of chocolate covered in a sweet sugar shell. The packaging has changed and they have now reintroduced the blue smartie. They are have the same flavour except the orange which is filled with orange flavoured chocolate. I have tasted cheap un branded versions of smartis but for some reason they are never the same. Nestle seem to have perfected the recipe and the result is a great tasting treat. They now boast no artificial colours or flavours. I never really cared about that so now that the smarties don't seem to be as bright colours as they used to, i find it a bit of a let down. One of the main things that appealed to me, was the bright colours and now they look washed down and kind of dirty. They also contain 17.2g of fat per 100g. This isn't too bad when you consider they are 65% chocolate. I would reccomend these sweets to anyone who hasn't tried them. Summary: Great sweets |
