Advantages: taste nice

Disadvantages: messy

My little sister loves smarties but my mum doesnt like the mess she makes with them.

smarties are little saucer shaped sweets which come wrapped in a cardboard tube and used to when I was younger have a plastic lid that had one letter of the alphabet printed on it, I used to love collecting these, the ones my mum buys for my sister dont have this plastic lid the have a cardboard pull up piece, I dont know why they changed them, maybe thet were a choking hazard or something.

Smarties are made up of an oval chocolate piece coated in sugar and dyed a bright colour, there are lots of different colours in each pack. It is the colour that my little sister makes a mess with, it comes off all over her hands then she gets it everywhere much to the horror of my mum.

Tha chocolate in the middle is milk chocolate and tastes quite nice although it isnt very sweet, the sugar coating is sweet and crispy and the colour has no taste as all the smarties taste the same despite there colour.

You get lots in each tube, it is filled right to the top unlike some sweets that only half fill there tubes.

Summary: a nice sweet
