I'm feeling loads better after my recent cold/flu so ventured out to the pub with my mate today, when I got there I realised I couldn't face boozing so settled down with a bag of Scampi Fries instead! I haven't had them in sooooo long even though I love them to bits.

Scampi Fries are proper fishy tasting and reek of fish as well. They are little pillowy crisps that are sort of 2 crisps joined together at the edges with air in the middle. They are corn snacks so are proper crunchy and melt in your mouth as well, you're better off to let them dissolve in your mouth because then they release an even strong fishy flavour and really get your tastebuds going.

The flavour coating is quite loose on the Scampi Fries and that makes them feel quite crumbly when you eat them, that's great for me because I love that sort of texture but my dad hates his fingers getting into too much of a mess with crisps so he doesn't eat them that much even though he loves them as much as me! lol

I think it's the unusual fishy flavour that makes these so yummy because there's nothing else like them in the shops. I've had fish flavoured crisps before from different brands but nothing compares to these and I absolutely love them.

It's weird though because I've brought packs to eat in the house and they never seem as good as when you eat them in the pub! I think they're wicked, delish and the best crispy snacks ever and I hope they never stop making them.
