Slimming World was out the window even before the Christmas festivities began and all the hard work I had put into losing a stone and a half was ruined when throughout the holiday season I continually stuffed my face with everything that contained too many calories and too much fat. New Year came and went and I realised I had to become that sensible person again who was lurking under my weight gain somewhere. Perusing Sainsbury's aisles for some inspiration on low fat treats I saw the Snack-a-Jack range. Initially I was put off as all I could think of were those awful rice cakes my mum used to eat when I was young and the smell and texture was just vile, but ... Read the complete review

I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant and every now and then have been craving something sweet... Of course being pregnant and overweight to start with, Snack-a-Jacks Butter Toffee Popcorn caught my eye as I thought it would be a sweet treat with less guilt as the pack promises "less than 10% fat". I bought the 6 pack from Morrissons (can't remember the price, sorry) and opened a packet in the car after I finished my shopping to give me a bit of a sweetness boost! I have tried Snack-a-jacks products before and am a massive fan of the caramel rice cakes and I wish I'd stuck with what I knew as I didn't like the popcorn at all... It felt very cardboardy ... Snack A Jacks, Butter Toffee Popcorn. Really love chocolate as you might have already gathered, and what with all the Easter Eggs floating around my flat, bearing in mind that i now am nanna to seven grandchildren, wanted a product that made a change from all that chocolate, and thinking that we all needed a change, spotted these Snack a Jack Popcorn products in sale at my local convenient Co-Op store. Packaging ********** Yellow and Orange Packages, quite noticable on the shelf and kind of associating Snack A Jack Products with the conventional Snack A Jack Lower Calorie Cracker type Biscuits, purchased a couple of these ... I am always on the look out for a low fat snack to indulge in without breaking my Weight Watchers plan, I am not the biggest fan of Snack A Jacks as I find them too cardboard-like and anyway the flavour is only on the outside so as soon as that's gone you're left with a tasteless and too hard mouth full of stuck together puffs. And that is the only way I can describe Snack A Jacks. However, I was given a packet of their Butter Toffee Popcorn in my Weight Watchers meeting last week and think they are delicious. They're not the healthiest snack on the market with 149 calories and over 3g of fat in each 35g bag, but considering how many calories a packet of ... Read the complete review

I like to watch what I'm eating and I tens to stay away from snacks like bags of crisps but I do sometimes buy Crack A Jack mini snacks. They comes in a few different flavours and contain hardly any fat and no sugar, so when I spotted their Butter Toffee Popcorn I didn't hesitate to buy them. I was doing my weekly Tesco shop on-line and these were on offer at 3 bags for £1. So, of course, I had to have all three. While I was unpacking my shopping I looked at these bags of popcorn and saw the less than 10% fat promise on the bag. Hang on a minute, I thought. 10% is a lot of fat. I looked again and decided that a product with ... Read the complete review
