... for this. Not only are they flavourful, but they are reasonably healthy, too. There are only 108 calories in a 30g cheese flavoured pack, and only 2 grams of fat! It's a guiltless way to enjoy a cheesy, crunchy snack. Other crisps will run you up to 200 or 250 calories per similar sized pack, and much more fat. The price is reasonable too, at usually 30p per pack. At that rate, you're doing much better than going to the vending machine every time you have a craving! Premium Review Snak A Jacks: DIET FRIENDLY SNACK (261 words)

Continuing on my diet snack quest, although I can eat certain crisps, I like Snack a Jacks as well. So what are Snack a Jacks? They are rice and corn pieces that are circular and quite thin. You get these in a few different flavours such as bbq, cheese, caramel, chocolate, salt and vinegar, prawn cocktail and roast chicken. Also there is the original Snack a Jacks, Snack a Jack Mini's and Snack a jack jumbos. So what are the differences between them all? Jumbo's - these are large, thicker circles and they have 39 calories per disc. The flavours are caramel, salt and vinegar, and chocolate. Priced around £1.20 for a bag of 14 ...  Read the complete review

Ok as I was on a diet (and it was costing me a fortune in diet food, cup-a-soups and low cal choccy drinks) I thought I’d write a review on something I recently purchased and try to get back a tad of my small fortune. Being on a diet and sticking to it religiously means cutting out all my favourite foods including chocolate, crisps and cakes. This as you can imagine is very hard work and occasionally it is necessary to find yourself a low fat substitute as a nice treat. Today I did this, and as per usual, here are my findings: QUAKER SNACK-A-JACKS \\\\\\ WHAT ARE SNACK-A-JACKS ////// Quaker Snack-a-Jacks are light and crispy bubbled ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Snak A Jacks: Crap-A-Jacks !! (734 words)

Quaker 'Snack A Jacks' seem to have been around a couple of years now and are increasingly easy to find on the shelves in our shops and supermarkets. A friend of mine at work has a packet a day and I've seen a couple of opinions on here praising them including Deano who seems to have simular tastes to myself. So having said all of this I purchased a pack earlier in the week, despite my misgivings about all low fat food being substandard in taste in all my previous experiences. Quaker Oats Limited the company that owns this product were formed in 1901 in Ohio, U.S.A by a group of Oats farmers - the old man with the long hair that symbolises Quaker is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Snak A Jacks: Snak a Jacks Review! (143 words)

The only snak a jacks i buy are the caramel flavoured. I have a sweet tooth and so they are great. They have a nice texture and taste. The other flavours hardly enthrall me. I only eat the Snak A Jacks in the packets because the large jumbo sized (rice cake style) dont have as nice a flavour and generally annoy me. The small ones are cute. So as for taste, caramel snak a jacks get a god 4 out of 5 for me. So what is the problem? well firstly, they are overpriced. 50 odd pence for a 35g pack? I dont THINK so. Tut tut. Also they're not that low in calories really. Low in fat yes, but your average pack of crisps has the same calorie content (and ...  Read the complete review
