I couldn't go any longer without writing a review of the humble Snickers. It's a brill chocolate bar, and although it was cooler when it was called Marathon back in the day, it's remained a steadfast favorite of mine and many of my friends throughout :)

A Snickers Bar is a soft milk chocolate bar with creamy nougat - 14%, and silky caramel centre - 27% with delicious roasted peanuts. It's made by Mars and as you'd expect from a leading brand manufacturer of chocolate, it's a quality product.

Normally I prefer the taste of Cadbury's chocolate to Mars, but for the Snickers, I'll make an exception. Unlike some, I actually prefer it straight from the fridge, so the nougat and caramel are slightly chewier and the nuts have that crunch. Most prefer it soft at room tempterature, but i find it gets too messy that way.

Overall I'd rate it a great bar, and if buying in a multipack great value for money. just don't look at the calorie content!
