Formally known as Marathon, this is a popular chocolate bar from Mars. A rich chewy nougat is coated with caramel and peanuts, then surrounded by what tastes remarkably like Galaxy chocolate (more sugary than chocolatey). The flavours compliment each other very well, with the nougat being quite subtle, and provides a good base for the stronger ... Read the complete review

Snickers Bar are a bigger bar of chocolate than the average bite I think, offering a layer of nougat, caramel and rammed with peanuts so not too good if you are allergic to nuts (obviously). I do like Snickers these are quite a sweet bar of chocolate and occasionally can get in to my fillings in my teeth. These do feel like value for money ... Read the complete review

NOM NOM NOM!! These delectable bars of pleasure are nougat topped with peanuts and caramel all lovingly wrapped in milk chocolate. First of all, i tend to unwrap these... obviously. But then, my first bite, i take a nice big chunk to get a proper helping of chocolatey, caramely, peanutty, nougat-y flavour. After my first, i like to take my ... Read the complete review

This morning just as an experiment I replaced my usual cereal with some diet cereal thinking that I was being smart and saving some calories and that I would really notice the difference. But by around 9:30 I was ravenously hungry and a herd of buffalo couldn't have kept me out of the shop at work. I went in and after browsing the chocolate ... Read the complete review

These used to be called Marathon bars years ago and i have been eating them since i have been a child. They are now called Snickers bars and are a really filling satisfying bar of chocolate. I love nuts so if i fancy something nutty, i will always opt for a Snickers bar first. Snickers are the best selling chocolate bar of all time and ... Read the complete review

Snickers Snickers are not my favourite chocolate bar but occasionally I do like a nibble. Tesco have been doing an offer on Mars fun size packs and buy 2 for £3 so we have acquired some Milky Way bars, mars bars and snicker bars. Snickers do come in fun size, snack size, standard size and an extra large size called duo which is two bars ... Read the complete review

If you're as ancient as I am, then you'll remember this bar as the Marathon before it came into line with its American parent in 1990. In fact, there *is* still a bar bearing the Marathon name in the United States, but it seems to be some sort of strange "energy bar" variant bearing little resemblance to the bar I'm looking at in this ... Many moons ago I loved Marathons. Yep for people over 30 you probably remember the name change and still call them Marathons as I do! Nowadays of course they're Snickers and along with the name change Melanie (me lol) forgot about them and moved to pastures new. The other day however I so wanted a bar of chocolate and for some reason ... Read the complete review

A Snickers Bar is packaged in a brown wrapper and it has perforations at both edges so that it is easy to open. The Snickers bar is 58g in size and is available from most supermarkets & newsagents for around 45p but this may be cheaper if you purchase it within a multi-pack and it also comes in several different including snack size & king ... I couldn't go any longer without writing a review of the humble Snickers. It's a brill chocolate bar, and although it was cooler when it was called Marathon back in the day, it's remained a steadfast favorite of mine and many of my friends throughout :) A Snickers Bar is a soft milk chocolate bar with creamy nougat - 14%, and silky ... What's not to love about Snickers! Everyone knows what they are but the older or more mature customer may know them as Marathon Bars. The bars are made by the Mars company and they decided to change the name in 1990 to align the UK Marathon product with the global snickers name. Each Snickers bar is packed with roasted ... Having just had a Reese's NutRageous bar and comparing them to Snickers I felt compelled to balance things out and actually have a Snickers bar (seems only fair doesn't it?). Snickers are created by Mars and are rather huge worldwide (whilst Reese's seem to be just entering the UK market, so are presumably only huge in the USA). The coming in a ... I might have previously mentioned that I am a total chocoholic and I would eat it constantly if my waist line would let me. I usually switch and change what chocolate I eat, I like a bit of variety when it comes to my treats. Dairy Milk is my current favourite but the one chocolate bar I have eaten and loved ever since I was young is Snickers. ... Read the complete review

The snickers chocolate bar was first introduced in 1930. Made by the Mars company, the snickers was named after the family behind the corporations favourite horse. To date the snickers bar is the best selling chocolate bar in the world. Upon its launch in the UK and Ireland the snickers bar was originally named Marathon bar, but in 1990 the snack ... The Snickers chocolate bar is produced by Mars and is very tasty and quite filling too. The unique thing about the chocolate bar is that it contains roasted peanuts, which add a nice flavour and makes it quite filling too. I have been a major snickers lover from the word go, and frequently buy them when possible. To this day I do not regret the 40p spent. Snickers bars are basically the exact same thing ac mars bars but they are made for nut fans rather then mars bars that don't contain any nuts at all. The snickers is made up of the nougat layer at the bottom, the caramel bit at the top and then the whole thing is coated is milk chocolate just like the mars bar is. However the only ... Snickers are chocolate bars made by Mars. Snickers come in a dark brown wrapping which is a chocolate sort of colour that it has been used ever since the bar used to be called Marathon, there are also some peanuts scattered about to advise you of the inclusion of nuts in this bar. Snickers bars have always been one of my favourite sweet things to eat. Nothing beats the flavour of those peanuts and caramel. Some people like Mars bars, but for me, it's just like a Snickers bar without flavour, but with an overbearing amount of sugar to give you a headache. You can freeze them, the Scots deep-fry them, you can pull ... Read the complete review
