I don't know why I reached for these the other month in Asda. I like Snickers, but i'm not the biggest Flapjack fan. They just aren't that exciting in my eyes. I found these in the Cake aisle and you got a pack of 5 for £1.29. This was on Asda Rollback price. The packaging is alright. The bars are individually wrapped and they are on a cardboard tray and the pack is in a cellophane wrapper. The pack colour is brown, with a picture of Peanuts on the front, a nice picture of 1 of the flapjacks and the Snickers writing in the trademark blue writing. My mum knows that I love Snickers and whilst I will pay 50p for a bar or two, I won't stretch my budget to buying these so she buys them for me every now and again. The pack contains five snicker flapjacks that consist of a thick oaty flapjack coated in peanuts and chocolate and they retail at around £2.50. I really enjoy a nice flapjack because although they do actually contain a fair few calories, they do fill me up for a long time. The flapjack on this bar is very thick and buttery and is very easy to eat because it's so soft and basically melts in the mouth before you've even taken a bite. Now while out on the hunt for some nice treats, as my eldest son and his wife were coming down to see us for the weekend. The shops are full of Xmas goodies, but I will not buy anything from that range at the moment as by the time Xmas hits us we will be sick of mince pies, biscuits and cakes ect.... Then sitting on the shelf beckoning me over was what I thought was a pack of Snickers (sitting in the wrong place amongst the cakes and not the bars of chocolate!) it was in fact a packet of Snickers Flapjacks.
