Soreen Snack Pack I like a bit of cycling and the other week i decided to get on my bike and cycle to a local windmill that near where I live. the ride was about 10 miles and along the way decided to pop into the local Tesco Metro for a snack to much on whilst havin a rest. The soreen snack pack caught my eye due to its brightly coloured packaging and the memories of having the Soreen loaf on a Sunday afternoon with my parents. Opening the pack was easy enough i used my teeth as im always being told not to and i cant recommend this method of opening but i find it the easiest way to get into this type of wrapping. What is it? ******** A small pack of malt loaf slices. Special features? ************* The malt loaf is made from Soreen's unique and secret recipe, it claims to be a great healthy source of carbohydrates, to be eaten as part of a balanced diet and is also low in fat. Normally, Soreen sells these in loaves - this snack pack consists of two small malt loaf slices and exclusively spread with a portion of Anchor's butter. I was looking for a chicken sandwich in the garage the other day as I was hungry but didn't have time to stop for a proper lunch. They only had a choice of a few left that I didn't like though, so instead I decided I'd try a Soreen Snack Pack. I do like a bit of malt loaf as a general rule and of course Soreen are the authority on this stuff as it is. In each little pack there's a yellow plastic tray inside the wrapper to stop your malt loaf getting squashed on the shelf or in your bag etc. I think it's a brilliant idea actually and good to see that they haven't gone and scrimped on the packaging just to save their profit margin by 1p a pack or ...
