Being on Weightwatchers finding foods that are low in points are a must and when my colleague was tucking into these at her desk one day she offered me one to try and at 1 and a half points per pack these are great to eat and grab on the go to get your day off to a good start. *~*Mini Breaks*~* The Special K mini breaks are golden oats, wheat and rice baked into deliciously crunchy, thin biscuity bites. The come in Original flavour and also Chocolate flavour both are pretty tasty and handy to have in the cupboards if you don't have time to have your breakfast at home and need to eat something on the run. The breaks are crunchy, ... Read the complete review

It was Wednesday night and I was dancing about on the grubby kitchen lino, packing the following day’s lunches under the artificial light. The gloom outside from that hour the clocks went back somehow seemed oppressive and while humming Moby’s “We are all made of stars….” to cheer myself up, I managed to shut my broken fingernail in the cupboard door. I let out a yelp of pain and annoyance and sat down on the kitchen floor. The Boyfriend, without even a backward glance murmured “Yeah…. Try not to hurt yourself…” and returned to Facebook in an unfeeling manner. I was livid and filled with a deep and evil desire for revenge, I seized my moment and my weapon of ... Being back on my diet - boo hiss, Things like these are now my snacks. They taste alright I guess, but they will never taste as good as a Wispa, Chips or a Burger I guess. These came out a couple of years ago. As far as I know you can only buy these in a 5 pack multipack, have never seen them for sale individually. They usually cost about £2 for the pack, so works out at 40p per bag. I wouldn't say that the packaging is too much, but the bags are in quite a large cardboard box, and although you wouldn't want these all squashed in and broken up. I think the box could have been smaller or be more useful for the enviroment and just have these in a ... Read the complete review

I have to be honest and say that I don't like Special K cereal. I think it tastes like cardboard! It is a breakfast cereal that never ends up in my cupboard even when I am desperately trying to shed those pounds. So why then , I hear you cry, are you writing a review for a Special K product? Honestly? ... 1) They were on offer. 2) I'm on a diet (again!). 3) The word 'chocolate' was contained in the title! Kellogg's Special K Mini Breaks Chocolate, are chocolate flavoured crunchy multi-grain cereal bites. They claim that they are 'Perfect for nibbling!' Well as I am on a diet, what do I want to do every minute of the day...... EAT! I can't ... Read the complete review

Special K Mini Breaks Chocolate Description: Manufacturer: Kellogg's / Golden oats, wheat and rice baked into deliciously crunchy, thin biscuity bites. I was given a pack of these from a friend at work and found that they were actually pretty good. Due to this, I bought a multi pack of 5 from my local supermarket (this cost me £1.85, the bags were 24g each) which comes in a white cardboard box with the Kellogs logo and a picture of the product on the front. They are usually sold in the cereal aisle in shops. Usually I find that these kind of snacks taste a bit bland, but these are actually quite tasty. They are crunchy and sweet (but ...
