Special K Mini Breaks Chocolate
Description: Manufacturer: Kellogg's / Golden oats, wheat and rice baked into deliciously crunchy, thin biscuity bites.
I was given a pack of these from a friend at work and found that they were actually pretty good. Due to this, I bought a multi pack of 5 from my local supermarket (this cost me £1.85, the bags were 24g each) which comes in a white cardboard box with the Kellogs logo and a picture of the product on the front. They are usually sold in the cereal aisle in shops.
Usually I find that these kind of snacks taste a bit bland, but these are actually quite tasty. They are crunchy and sweet (but not too sweet) and you can taste the chocolate chips. This works well to make you feel that you are having a chocolatey snack, so you don't feel that you are depriving yourself!
Nutritional info is as follows;
99 calories
2g protein
18g carbs
7g of which sugars
2.5g fat
1g saturates
0.7g fibre
0.1g sodium
So, having a bag of these is definitely a lot healthier than a pack of crisps or a chocolate bar, though the bags are quite small, they are filling enough so you don't find yourself reaching for another bag. A worthwhile snack if you are on a diet or just trying to be health conscious. If I am in a rush, I sometimes take a bag of these and a yogurt or some fruit and they make a good breakfast on the go.
Definitely worth trying these, they are tasty and sweet and healthy, what's not to like?!
Summary: Well worth buying
