Splendips Thai Sweet Chilli
Newest Review: ... down at the tray, I was not too put off by what I saw. The crackers were a decent size, slightly bigger than a milk bottle ... more  ... cap, and looked quite sweet. There was nothing special about the cheese, it looked thick and creamy. As for the sweet chilli - it came across as quite watery and did not look to appetizing! Never mind, it was taste that counted!
So was the taste satisfying? Incredibly, yes! I was most pleased with one combination in particular!
*Crackers - tasted strongly of popcorn, too sickly sweet on their own. Very dry too.
*Cracker and cheese - well, have you ever had cheesy popcorn? It's not exactly a pleasant mix!

After one very successful Splendips option, and one not-so-good, I was unsure of what to expect when it came to sampling the third Splendips option I went to try a few days later - Thai Sweet Chilli. Looking down at the packaging, I was not impressed; the main outline what a shade of brown - very off-putting and unappealing. Though, I was not going to judge the meal entirely on its lousy foil lid, and tore it off, this time more easily than before. As soon as I did this, the scent from the tray hit me almost instantly; a combination of 'sweet and sour sauce', and a mild hint of cheese.
