I'm not particularly fruity - well, not when it comes to confectionary anyway. Chocolate is my weakness and nearly always my first choice when I need to satisfy a sweet craving. Feeling sorry for myself this morning, I wandered to the local Co-op and picked up my usual 'I need cheering up' Bueno. But as I headed over to the checkout something else caught my eye. Instantly attractive packaging with a slightly tropical look jumped out at me. Bright, vivid colours complimenting a fun and eye-catching design...Starburst Choozers. Easily distinguished from the regular Starburst due to the mainly reddish-pink colouring (in comparison to yellow of the original ... Read the complete review

I am just about old enough to remember the days of opal fruits, a very nice chewy sweet that needed no change. To start with all they done was change the name to starburst which was ok, pointless but ok but then they started to tamper with the sweets themselves. They removed some of the sugar whilst at the same time supposedly improving the flavour they then removed old favourite flavours and replaced them with others now finally they bring us the new idea.. Choozers, the chews that ooze! In my opinion these sweets are horrible and I have yet to meet someone who likes them although I am sure I will get plenty comments on here from people who do. ... Wanting something sweet to satisfy my craving, I bought these 'Starbust Choozers' from Tesco since they looked intriguing and I hadn't tried them before. The packaging is red with 'Starburst' and 'Choozers' written across the front in large letters, along with a picture of one of the sweets cut in half with some juice oozing out the middle of it. The wrapper has bursts of yellow in it, and I have to say that it is quite eye catching! The catch phrase written on the back of the packet is 'The Chews That Ooze', giving us some indication of what is in store whilst eating the sweets. There are three different flavours of sweet in the pack; Orange and ... Read the complete review

The Chews that Ooze!! Fruit flavoured chews with liquid centre made with real fruit juices. Starburst Choozers are the new variety of fruit flavoured chews from the Mars Corporation. I am a big fan of sweets; especially fruit chewy sweets and one of the best varieties around have to be Starburst. Starburst were originally know as Opal Fruits and I know many people who still lust whimsically after Opal Fruits and still have not embraced the name change. Opal Fruits were first produced in the UK in 1960. In 1976 they were introduced in the States under the brand name, Starburst and due to the fact that Mars wanted to standardize their ... I have always wanted to try Starburst Choozers since it first appeared last year. As Tesco is currently offering the sweets at £1.00 for a 160g bag instead of the usual £1.37, I decided to give it a try. I like the original Starburst chewy sweets, the individually wrapped sweets have a nice fruit flavour and the chewiness is very addictive. I could finish a whole tube of starburst sweets within minutes. Starburst Choozers is quite similar to the original version except that each sweet is filled with fruit flavoured liquid that is supposed to ooze out as you chew on the sweet. Starburst Choozers in the bag is individually wrapped and the oval shaped ... Read the complete review
