Starburst may seem like a new chewy type sweet to some but these actually used to be opal fruits, everyone must remember opal fruits they have been around for many years, Star bursts are available as single packs or milti packs with 4 bars in them for about £1. Inside each pack you have around 12 sweets, each sweet is individually wrapped in paper which are different colours to represent the flavour of the chewy sweet inside. You get a mix of yellow which I think is lemon, green which I think is lime, orange which is definatley orange flavoured, red which is strawberry flavoured and purple which is blackcurrant flavoured, The mix of the green yellow ...

Starburst are one of those chewy sweets that really do make your mouth water when you eat them which means that you just have to chew and a packet does not last a long time. In all there are five fruit flavour sweets in every pack, usually in a single tube you will get at least two of each flavour. Each sweet is square shaped and individually wrapped in the colour of the actual sweet. In all the flavours are lime, lemon, orange, blackcurrant and strawberry and they are coloured green, yellow, orange, purple and red respectively. My folks tell me that these used to be known as opal fruits but I only know them as Starburst. These ara chewy fruit flavoured sweet that comes in five different flavours in the normal pack. Each sweet is square in shape and they are individually wrapped. In all I reckon you get maybe ten sweets to a normal size packet however there are family size bags as well. A single tube costs about forty pence.
