Inside is treasured a whole hazelnut! ~~~TASTE AND TEXTURE~~~ I have to say they taste fabulous, as there is a beautiful mix of textures, the soft chewy toffee against the smooth middle and the crunchy hazelnut. It is truly bliss. I love the taste of it all malgamating together, and every time you eat it a different flavour dominates, and a different experien...more

Premium Review Storck Toffifee: Its toffee with added fee! (714 words)

For Easter I brought my younger daughter a box of Toffifee which are made by Storck and before she went home she left me a few of them to have after my tea. Toffifee come in a box that contains a cardboard tray and then another tray that is made of plastic and this is the one that holds the chocolates in little cup indents in the tray. It is quite a lot of packaging and each tray of Toffifee is individually wrapped in thin plastic too but I cannot see how they could reduce the packaging and still be able to present the chocolates to look good. It is all recyclable though so that isn't too bad when I compare it to a pack of apples I brought last month in the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tempting Toffifee (1042 words)

I'm always up for trying something new, no matter what the circumstances, so when I came across Toffifee, I took the dive and liked where I landed! ***** I was in my local Poundland store (I can't remember what reason I went in, in the first place!) and was queuing up by the far till. Next to this massive queue, there was a few shelves, stacked high with all sorts of sweets, displayed in boxes of all sizes and colours; Cadburys, Maltesers, those weird little bubblegum ball things that are impossible to chew...endless options. I hadn't set out to buy anything from this section, but then one particular box, sitting on the bottom shelf, caught my ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Storck Toffifee: Can't get enough of it!! Toffifeefefefefefe! (363 words)

Toffifee is just what it's called- A meringue of toffee goodness!! I've never tasted a mix of toffee better than this... ~~~PACKAGING~~~ Toffifee comes in a tray which has an overall cardboard cover, in which the tray (plastic wrapped) slides in and out. Each box has 15 toffifee, and they sit in their shrink wrapped gold tray. I find it slightly difficult to pick up the toffifee, have to press from the underside to loosen the tension, in which they will then "pop" out! ~~~APPEARANCE~~~ The candy is semi spherical in shape, with a soft toffee underside, smooth chocolate centre and a dark chocolate topping. They all look ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A bit too chewy for me! (330 words)

Grr! Highly irritated by Windows Vista and their installed new updates just restarting my computer in the middle of a review - I attempt to re-write it again! Toffifee is a snack that my wife was fortunate to receive this christmas, I've been in a bit of trouble recently for polishing off any biscuits or chocolate lying around the house and I knew that this box of chocolates would be very well guarded. I took my chance to dip into them when my wife was out walking the dog and it paid off! I'd never tried a Toffifee before, so it was mostly out of curiosity that I was hunting them - I can't claim to have starved over the festive period. Toffifee are ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Storck Toffifee: Not a hazelnut butter cup (734 words)
by - written on 16/09/09 (Very useful, 26 readings)

After having had some of the Hershey's Reese's Cups I commented that they would taste better if they we're made with hazelnut and not peanut butter. Some when I saw something "cup" shaped and the word "Hazelnut" I put 2 and 2 together and declared these we're going to be amazing. Hazelnut butter as found in things like Kinder Bueno is a filling that is just brilliant, it's godly and as perfect as is possible for a filling to be. The idea that nuts could be used to make it is even more amazing, it tastes like heaven but is made from the humble old hazelnut, the man behind it is a legend. Anyway enough about what a great man the founder of ...  Read the complete review
