... Big. Meaty. Tasty!, and I definitely agree it is. They say it is packed full of delicious pepperoni, salami and ham for a spicy kick. Obviously, depending on what you add, for example sauces and different cheeses etc the calorie count will vary but according to their website if you go with wheat bread and salad there are about 396 calories. This is not brilliant but no bad either and compared to a Big Mac which is about 700 ish calories its a better lunch choice than a hamburger. Like I've said above, the fun thin...more

Subway Italian BMT Sandwich: I'm Not Italian But Love This BMT (477 words)

I go to Subway quite a bit and one of my fave sandwiches from there is the Italian BMT which is a real meaty sandwich that you can dress up with whatever salad you want. You choose from the breads in Subway as usual and I think this goes best on the hearty Italian one because it goes good with all the flavours of the meat and you get a choice of having cheese or not, I recomend having the cheese because it melts nice if you have your sandwich toasted and mixes in with the meat to give it an extra nice flavour. The person in Subway will put pepperoni, ham and salami on the sandwich and then it's up to you to decide what salad you want on it. I ...  Read the complete review

I have been a fan of Subway for a few years now, and recently I have started eating sandwiches from this company almost everyday. While I normally like to have a balanced diet and to cook for myself, since starting a new job, it has often made a lot more sense to bring a sandwich with me to work rather than eating before hand, as I would be absolutely starving if I had to wait for a ten hour shift or more to end before I could eat. Since there are two Subway shops on my way to work, and since Subway sandwiches are relatively good value and healthier than many other takeaways, I have started getting an Italian BMT sandwich almost every day on my way to work. ...  Read the complete review

Subway Italian BMT Sandwich: full on meat sub (262 words)

I lie going to Subway, and not sure if I like it there more than Baguette Express. Guess it depends what mood i'm in. The BMT Sandwich is on of my favourites though. You can have this on a 6" or !2" Sandwich. The 6" is normally £2.80, but if it is Sub of the Day then you get it for £1.99. You can get this on 5 different types of Sub, I go for the Italian White. The Sub is is nice, soft and fresh. It is baked on the premises and I think that since my local Subway is pretty busy, then the Subs don't sit around too long. You can get the Subs toasted as well, which I normally do. Since it has Cheese on it, then it is nice with the Cheese ...  Read the complete review

A sub or submarine sandwich is a sandwich that consists of a long roll of Italian or French bread, split lengthwise either into two pieces or opened in a "V" on one side, and filled with a variety of meats, cheeses, vegetables, seasonings, and sauces. According to an article I read about the history of Subway, "Fred DeLuca borrowed $1,000 from family friend Peter Buck, to start his first sandwich shop on August 28, 1965. At the end of 2010, Subway was the largest fast food chain on Earth, with 33,749 restaurants worldwide, 1,012 more thanMcDonald's. In terms of revenue, McDonald's still led Subway." Subway is a chain of restaurants that ...  Read the complete review

Subway Italian BMT Sandwich: Great Sub (341 words)

Subway sandwiches would have to be one of my favourites. I don't usually have a foot long subway but if I do it's so that I can have it for lunch the next day as well. At subway you make the choice about sandwich fillings and bread. There is a good selection of bread on offer; my favourite is now the herb and cheese sub. There is a large selection of meats on offer as well as a great selection of salads. You basically make the sandwich to your specification, including the size. You have the option of a foot long sub or a 6-inch sub (basically half the size). I first tried the Italian BMT when it was on offer as sub of the day. I knew I liked ...  Read the complete review
