Subway Italian BMT Sandwich
Advantages: Good price, tasty sandwich!
Im sure by now everybody knows how convenient Subway has become, from just out doing your shopping, popping in for a quick bite of lunch, or on your way home from a night out, popping in to line your stomach with something - we all know Subway is a food outlet that will provide us with what we are after.
Subway stores are everywhere, with them scattered around the UK, Europe and America and further. They have proved very popular, and their fast, eat in/take out for a low price approach has got us all tempted. They do a variety of bread, which is your first step in picking what you want. There is an option to choose your size, which you have the option of a footlong or a 6 inch sub. The next step after your size is to pick your bread (personally i think Itallian works best with every sandwich), were you can then put your favourite sandwich together. You can add extras for 50p, which is always a nice thing to do. You then get to pick what salad you would like, and whether you would like cheese and/or toasted, and get to add some sauce if you wish. You will then usually be prompted if you would like "any cookies or drinks", which can make it a meal deal. Your sandwhich is made right there in front of you, nice and fresh, with bread just coming out of the oven.
The Italian BMT sandwich is my favourite, and hasnt been around to long. The sandwich contains salami, pepperoni and ham, with cheese if you wish. You can choose any bread and any salad you like. Salad to choose from includes lettuce, tomato, cucumber, jalapenos, peppers, olives and lots more. Sauces to choose from are once again down to personal preference, but some include BBQ, Mayo and Ketchup. The Italian BMT is lovely and personally i think is the most gorgerous out of the choices available to you for the price. A 6" one of these made in to a meal deal is great and easily fills you up, and doesnt lay heavy on your stomach. This sub is just short of 550 calories, which isnt great if your dieting but you could choose a healthier bread and cut back on the unhealthy sauce. Subway likes to give the impression of being somewhere healthy to eat, especially with their latest advert of atheletes eating there, but you have to be so careful. Usually the ones you think dont have many calories in are usually the ones that contribute to you carrying extra pounds at your next weigh in! The price of the Italian 6" inch will get you change from £3, and a footlong adds £2 on to that.
All in all its a very tasty sub, and i am thinking now of going to buy one as ive tempted myself writing this!
Summary: Must try!
