I love making my own butter icing, it's one of my favourite things about icing and I always try to make my own. With the Christmas Fare approaching at my son’s school I have to take in the required home made cakes for the popular cake stall. Being honest, I am not very good at making cakes and usually buy shop brought ones, add a little decoration of my own and pass them off as home made. However this Christmas I was feeling all confident about producing a master piece for my son to show off with on the morning of the contributions.
