Cadbury Curly Wurly:
... long time ago (yes a VERY long time ago), in a land far far away - a land called childhood - there was a most delicious playtime favourite. It was the staple product of the school tuck shop. It was also that which you might have brought home on a Saturday morning along with your Beano or Dandy. In the summer it would have you licking melted chocolate from your lips and fingers, and in the winter, you would be getti... Read the full review: You can't stick flowers in it. by MisterReview |

Mars Galaxy Minstrels ... me chocolate minstrels over singing minstrels any day. Minstrels never fail to tempt me, despite the bags getting smaller and the prices higher than I remember when I was younger. To me, these are a classic example of affordable quality chocolate to really indulge in. They re produced by Mars Galaxy, so as you d expect you get the usual creamy delicious chocolate that s a product of years of knowledge & experience. They re very popular so they re readily available in supermarkets and convenience stores/newsagents. Individual 33g bags retail for around 45p, though I find newsagents can charge up to 60p. Multipacks of the regular sized bags are harder to come by,... Read the full review: Chocolate To Sing About by cazkins |

Simpkins Coffee Flavoured Drops ... long time ago I discovered coffee flavoured travel sweets and became addicted, but then they seemed to disappear. Whenever I go somewhere that sells travel sweets, such as motorway services or garden centres I always check their sweet stands just in case, but I haven t seen any for years. I happened to mention this to my daughter who also likes travel sweets, and she managed to find me a tin of Simpkins Coffee Flavoured Drops. I opened the tin and it was a real Oh, wow! moment. An intense coffee aroma wafted out at once. They look, and smell like slightly translucent drops of strong black coffee - which is what they are really. I had to put one in my mouth immedia... Cadbury Curly Wurly ... has been a favorite of mine since I was a young child, there was a time a few years ago where you couldnt get these in most shops but they seem to be all the rage again now with most shops stocking them. They are a long thin bar that isnt too deep and reminds me of a ruler if I am honest in shape, it is a toffee middle with a chocolate outer, the chocolate is milk chocolate and tastes very nice with the creamyness of the toffee, it is not a streight bar but it is curly as the name sugests. The toffee on these is quite soft if you dont put them in the fridge, is easy to bit through and stringy in texture, if you keep them in the fridge it goes hard enough to be snap...
