When happening across the product I will now review I was taken on a trip down memory lane, though this product does now have a bit of a modern twist. The product I will now review is - "Lovehearts dip with candyfloss stick" For anyone that doesn't remember these, these were readily available when I was a child, though they were called swizzlers then. The basic idea is a paper pouch sealed into four sections. Three sections contain around a teaspoon full of flavoured sherbet, these have changed since my youth, but more of that later! WHAT IS IT: This delightful sweet product contains three separate pouches of fine grain, flavoured sherbert, and a 'stick' made out of the same candy as love hearts, with which to suck and dip into the sherbert. Costing just 16p at Tesco, this is a very well priced product, but online you pay up to three times as much on the retro-sweets sites, so don't fall for that.. The flavours are orange, raspberry and lemon. Each has the consistency of finely ground sugar - it's granual sherbet rather than the dusty stuff. Each has a strong, tangy flavour, bordering on sour. The stick is supposed to be candyfloss flavour, but I just think it's ... Read the complete review
