Advantages: Lovely flavour

Disadvantages: Too easy to eat lots!!

My husband came back from the shop today with a Terry's Chocolate Orange for me, I was sitting in front of the computer and he plonked it right in front of me.

Now, to me Terry's Chocolate Orange means Christmas. When me and my sisters were little, we always got one in our stocking (in lieu of a traditional orange).

They were always rock hard and we spent the better part of the morning trying to bash them open. The advert always said 'tap to open' but in my experience it was never that easy, I'm sure they could easily have been used as a cricket ball!

Anyway, I haven't had a Terry's Chocolate Orange in YEARS! So I took it out of the box and unwrapped the orange foil. I fully expected to have to go through the same experience trying to open it, but to my surprise I didn't even have to 'tap' it, one of the segments came away in my hand!

My mouth was watering in anticipation, so I bit a piece off and slowly chewed.

Now there's a proper way to eat chocolate. First you have to chew approx 10 times to release the flavour. Press the chocolate to the roof of your mouth for 5 seconds. Chew again to release the secondary flavours and swallow.

So, the flavour and texture of the chocolate was exactly as I remembered. The milk chocolate was creamy and smooth and there was just enough orange flavour added without being overpowering. The Chocolate isn't sickly either, like a lot are eg Galaxy.

100g contains 527 calories and 29.5g fat so these are definately not an everyday chocolate, but ideal for treats!

Currently on offer in Tesco 2 for £2

Summary: Lovely tasting chocolate that reminds me of Christmas!

I love these. I remember when my daughter was 2 she managed to get hold of one of these and ate it like an apple
