The Terry's Chocolate Orange (now made by Kraft now that Terry's of York are no more) always makes a great present. It's superbly and brilliantly packaged, so you hardly need to wrap it up. You get an attractively coloured box, with, brilliantly, a peep-hole, through which you can spy, lurking like a real elephant in a room, the treasure inside. It looks like you can touch it, but it's cleverly protected by transparent plastic It's a 175g ball of chocolate, wrapped up in colour printed foil to make it look like an orange. OK, nobody's actually fooled by this: you know you're getting chocolate, but part of what Terry's are marketing is a little bit of ... Read the complete review

The advertising for Terry Chocolate Orange used to tell you to "Tap it Unwrap it" however in my experience it takes more than a light tap to break into this particular orange, more like a good bash and then prising the segments apart to get at that chocolate. Not that I'm complaining because it is well worth the effort as a Chocolate Orange is a great tasting chocolate. You can now but individula bars however traditionally this is a ball of chocolate in the shape of an orange which breaks down into wedges that are thick on the outside and become ever thinner towards the centre. It is made from solid milk chocolate which has a lovely orange ... Read the complete review

Thank God Sunday is Mothers Day, my kids know i am a terrys orange chocaholic, mind you the mint one is not bad either, the triple pack of delicious dark chocolate orange that i had purchased and wrapped for my mother for christmas never made it that length as i sucumbed to temptation and raided under the christmas tree one night, i'm wiser now but as sunday is fast aprroaching my last two purchases were made no not for terry but for mum and me. I will then only have to wait for easter to roll round, after that i will have all summer to walk and work of my little temptations before i am rolling around myself. whoever invented this chocolate with the distinct orange ... Terry's Chocolate Orange is something we always have at Christmas, someone always has one brought them this time its my husband who received one in his stocking. We both love Terry's Chocolate Orange so there was no way I was going let him eat it all without having a segment or two. Terry's Chocolate Orange comes in a blue square box, there is a hole cut out of three sides of the box, this allows you to see the chocolate orange inside, just above the hole on these three sides are the words "Terry's" written in yellow and "Chocolate Orange" written in orange this is made to look like it is written in orange peel. In the bottom right hand ... Read the complete review

Terry's Chocolate Orange is a type of orange flavoured chocolate best known in the form of an orange shaped ball, divided into segments. The chocolate orange was originally launched in the 1930s, has proven extremely popular and is now sold worldwide by Kraft foods. As well as the original milk Chocolate Orange, a dark chocolate variety, 'segsations' (individually wrapped segments), bars and party cake are also all now available. Expect to pay around 50p for an individual bar, £2.50 for an orange (which works out quite expensive), and £8.00 for a party cake. A chocolate orange is instantly recognisable: it comes in a square box, the background colour is ... Read the complete review
