This is a review of the bar version of Terry's Chocolate Orange.

When I want a bar of chocolate, I normally go for the same kinds over and over again, such as Cadbury's Fruit and Nut, Ritter Sport and Galaxy, but occasionally when I have a chocolate craving I decide to try something different. Today I picked up a bar of Terry's Chocolate Orange, as I have always loved the chocolate oranges made by the company.

Chocolate Orange bars are very similar to the more traditional orange shaped variety, except with six segments fastened together in a bar shape instead of as they would be in an actual orange. The pieces snap off easily just as squared chocolate pieces do in Cadbury's Dairy Milk bars, which means that it's easy to eat small amounts at a time. The taste is identical to the traditional oranges, which is great for fans of Terry's Chocolate Orange who would like to be able to have a taste of their favourite chocolate without having to buy a whole large Orange. For those of you who aren't familiar with this chocolate, the taste is of milk chocolate with a strong undertone of oranges, hence the name. To me, it tastes absolutely amazing, and is one of my favourite chocolates. I often get the oranges for Christmas and birthdays, but it's great to be able to buy small bars of it as well.

In conclusion, these bars are great if you love the taste of orange chocolate as I do. I would have to admit, however, that they don't taste as great the Swedish company Marabou's orange chocolate, which is absolutely fantastic, but unfortunately in the UK it's only available in Ikea, as far as I know. Anyway, Terry's chocolate orange bars are a great snack, and at 210 calories per bar, aren't too terrible dietwise either.
