Advantages: Great & Unique Taste. Chocolate Is Good Quality. Lots Of Different Varieties In The Range

Disadvantages: Very Moorish. Sometimes One Or Two Pieces Are Not Enough.

I didn't know this before starting this review but this product dates back to the 1920's when a Chocolate Apple (Yes Apple) was produced. In the 1930's a Chocolate Orange was added & proved to be far more popular and the Apple was phased out in 1954.

Up until the 30th of September 2005, the range was made in the Terry's factory in York. Kraft bought the company & moved production to European facilities taking it out of the UK for the first time ever. The prodcuts were only originally available in the UK however Kraft now sell the range across the world.

The chocolate itself is given it's flavour with Orange Oil. It is currently sold in a variety of ways. The most common being a ball of chocolate the size of an orange which splits into 20 segments. There are also bars available along with tins of individualy wrapped segments which have all the different types of chocolate orange inside.

There are different flavours available. These regularly change and still include milk, dark, white & volcanic popping candy!. Some of the deleted products in the range include Raspberry Milk, Raspberry Dark & Lemon.

My favourite variety is the Orange Milk. It has a really great taste. The chocolate is nice. It's not very sweet but is very creamy with a great texture. The taste or orange is great & is the smell when you first unwrap one. The Dark variety is also very nice but has a deeper & stronger taste of chocolate & is less creamy.

This is a great type of chocolate that I recommend highly. For me, both Christmas & Easter would not be the same withought a Chocolate Orange in there somewhere. I would recommend giving them a try. Plus, Christmas is a great time to do this as they usually have some sort of buy 2 get 1 free offer at this time of year.

Summary: A great chocolate item. Part of British Culture & most of all, great to eat.
