Breakfast at my house during the week tends to be a rushed affair... it regularly gets missed out altogether, or, if time is made for breakfast it's often a very quick slice of toast... At the weekend, however, it's different. Sunday's tend to be our most lazy day, and it's on Sunday's we tend to indulge in our alternative breakfast... croissants! Tesco's All Butter Croissants are sold in packets of 4 or 8 - the 8-pack being slightly better value, priced at £0.98 compared with the 4-pack at 56p. (Incidentally both of these products have come down in price over the past 6 months or so). The see-through packaging is very simple, but excellent in the way ... Read the complete review

Whilst shopping in my local Tesco supermarket the other day, I noticed that there were several bargains to be had throughout the store. Noticing that the bread aisle had a little counter of 'reduced price' produce on display, I actually managed to get quite a few little bargains, including a French stick and a garlic-flavoured ciabatta bread. Another item that I got which was a 'cut price' item on this occasion was a four pack of Tesco's own branded 'All Butter Croissants', which were reduced to around 40 pence or so. As these never last long in our household and I KNEW they would get scoffed before they spoiled, I stuck them in my ... Read the complete review

If you have read any of my recent reviews then you will know that I am trying to eat breakfast of a morning rather than skip it and start munching on the biscuits half way through my morning. I do wonder then why breakfast for me goes out of the window of a weekend, I just can't quite stomach the cereal yet. I t may have something to do with the fact that I am lucky enough to have longer in bed of a weekend as I don't have to work weekends. What I love about getting up late of a weekend is treating myself to a lovely glass of orange juice and a lovely warm croissant... or two!!! My Mum and Dad first introduced me to croissants when I was living at home. It ... Read the complete review

As a family who love croissants we have become experts over the years on who supplies good and who supplies bad croissants. After buying Tesco All Butter Croissants we have stopped experimenting to find perfection. These croissants are mouth-wateringly delicious and extremely good value for money, recently costing £1.30 for half a dozen. We heat them in a warm oven for ten minutes (just long enough for fresh coffee to perculate) which crisps up the outside layer of pastry and warms the inside ready for the butter and blackcurrant jam. It is our Sunday morning treat for breakfast but these croissants are equally as tasty with bacon and melted cheese used as a filling ... Read the complete review

I don't like to eat breakfast instead I am more likely to have a mid morning snack of fruit or a cereal bar as I am never hungry enough to eat breakfast. I do however like to eat croissants as a snack. I normally buy the Tesco All Butter Croissants, they come in either a packet of 4 or a packet of 8, I'm reviewing the packet of 4 as 8 is just too much for my husband & I to eat. They cost £0.88 for a packet of 4 which is a fair price making them a mere £0.22 each. They come in clear plastic bag so that you see them before you buy them. The front of the packet has a streak of blue across it on which the name is written and the Tesco logo is there. On the ... Read the complete review
