I had some Tesco All Butter Croissants for breakfast this morning and they were absolutely lovely. A pack of eight cost £1.58 which I think is very reasonable as it works out at around 20p each. We found they were nicest heated up and put them in the microwave for 20 seconds to do this quickly and easily but you should really put them in the oven on a low heat for a few minutes.


They were lovely with a bit of jam sloshed on top. Because they already contain butter they don't really need any added but you could add some if you wanted to. The taste was really very buttery and the pastry was a lovely silky texture. The middles were lovely and fluffy and I really enjoyed eating these.


The smell has to be worth a mention here because it's really something to get your appetite going when you've heated these up a bit. Even though all you've done is warm them up for a bit, they smell like freshly cooked croissants.


Because they're very high in fat because they're all butter, it's important not to eat too many of these too often. They're a lovely treat or weekend splurge but far too high in fat to replace your usual cereal or toast.

Summary: I really enjoyed these.
