Tesco All Butter Mini Croissants Description: Manufacturer: Tesco / Type: Bread These croissants come in a clear wrapper with a red label. They sit in a plastic tray inside and you get 12 mini sized croissants in a pack. I paid £1.75 for these from my local shop. Unfortunately, you can't put these in the microwave, and I wished that I had checked before buying them as that was exactly what I had wanted to do! Instead you have to heat the over to 200 (check packaging as some ovens may vary) and then put them in for around 5 minutes. It seems a lot of effort to go to for 5 minutes though! Whilst on holiday, I found myself enjoying a croissant or two at breakfast time, which (as i'm normally a cereal eater) is something that I haven't done for a long time - basically, I had forgotten how nice they were, and as a result, I vowed to buy some when I returned home to the UK. There are times in life when you always seem to be saying " Well, I shouldn't but maybe just the one", and I seem to be saying these few words far more often than I should. Croissants are pretty irresistible in the first place, get a good buttery one and that makes them hard to pass by. The Other Half is no fan of the soft rich flaky bread come pastry, he would far rather have a good thick slice of toast lathered with butter but I love a couple of croissants for breakfast to ring the changes.
