... products have always been really good value and with these doughnuts that continues. At just 65p per pack of 5 or £1 for 2 packs these provide you with a great value treat that is great for kids and adults alike. These generally have a best before date of between one and three days when you buy them so it is advisable that you don't buy these and then don't eat them. They can be put in the freezer, when you take them out of the freezer make sure you take them out of the pack otherwise they will defrost slower than the one ...more

**Introduction** Over the past few weeks I have done quite a few music reviews so I thought I would break the trend with this review So here we are. When I do my regular shop I usually go to my local Tesco as I find it the best value and I am very fond of their own brand alternatives. Every supermarket has their own bakery and I have tried a number of products from Tesco's Bakery section over the years I have been visiting Tesco. Overview ------------ At just 65p per pack of 5 or £1 for 2 packs these doughnuts are certainly cheap but are they as good tasting as their more expensive counterparts? Look ------- These doughnuts look extremely sugary but soft and a reasonable size. There is a small area on the packaging where you can look at the doughnuts. I always check them out before i buy to make sure they arnt leaking fillings (i like the contents better than the dough!) or to make sure none are too dark (burnt). Taste ------- The doughnuts taste Ok. They are soft, sweet but very sugary. I definately prefer Sommerfield doughnuts as they have ...  Read the complete review

Doughnuts are often the treats that people at work bring in when it's their birthday. It's easier than baking, fairly cheap and that way people can just grab one from the staff room table to stuff in their mouths before rushing back to the classroom. These apple filled doughnuts are on offer at the moment 2 packs of 5 for a pound. The Jam and the custard filled ones are on this offer too. I think you can mix them for this offer. These doughnuts are full of calories 845kJ (205kcal), lots of fat, lots of sugar. Still if you are going to eat a donut you would guess that. Tesco can not guarantee these apple doughnuts nut free as they are made in a ...  Read the complete review
