... packet! Whoops. I would rate this product 5/5 as I think the price is very good and the taste is nice, however, the lace itself could do with being less chewy as I found that I got sick of chewing after a few laces but I must admit I did finish the entire packet so it obviously didn't annoy me all that much! These strawberry laces can be purchased for 38p from Tesco or as part of a long term 3 for £1.00 price offer in all Tesco stores & online at tesco.co.uk....more

Premium Review Tesco Apple Flavoured Laces: Delicious Apple Flavoured Laces. (312 words)

I am a big lover of sweets so when I was in Tesco recently I just couldn't stop myself from picking up these sweeties! The childish packaging called out to me and I knew that this was something new that I hadn't tried before. The thought of a review swayed me and I threw them in my basket! The laces are a little waxy and take a fair while to chew but the taste of apple is there, not overpowering but delicious sugary and sweet at the same time. These are very nice but if I could improve the product it would be to make the laces a little less waxy. I enjoy mucking around with laces, making bracelets with my nieces and nephews and other various ...  Read the complete review

I love laces even though there isn't much to them and I especially love apple flavoured sweets as well so combining the two should be a match made in heaven for me! These were 38p for a 75g bag and can be found alongside the strawberry laces in the sweet aisle at Tesco. On opening the packet you are met with the sweet and unmistakable smell of apples although there is a bit of an artificial whiff there too. I find that I need to rip the whole packet open to get one of the laces out because they are in such a tangle that if I pull one then it ends up snapping and I don't get the benefit of a whole lace. Once I have unraveled the entangled ...  Read the complete review

I know that I have been reviewing Asda children's sweets for quite some time now but I'm slowly running out of new ones to try and review so whilst out in my town centre a couple of weeks ago I made a trip to Tesco's and purchased six of their bags of children's sweets. Not only did these sweets put an end to my sugar craving for a good few days but they have also given me a new batch of products to review. This bag is called Apple Flavour Laces and they were rather nice. The Apple Flavour Laces cost 38p a bag and contains 75g of sweets but like Asda's own sweets can be bought on offer with another two bags for £1. The bag in question is an eye-catching ...  Read the complete review
