I love laces even though there isn't much to them and I especially love apple flavoured sweets as well so combining the two should be a match made in heaven for me!

These were 38p for a 75g bag and can be found alongside the strawberry laces in the sweet aisle at Tesco.

On opening the packet you are met with the sweet and unmistakable smell of apples although there is a bit of an artificial whiff there too. I find that I need to rip the whole packet open to get one of the laces out because they are in such a tangle that if I pull one then it ends up snapping and I don't get the benefit of a whole lace.

Once I have unraveled the entangled arrangement of green, thin laces, I am able to start.

I found these laces to be very tasty and I really enjoyed the flavour because it wasn't really strong but it wasn't too subtle either. I did find which I often do with laces, that I had to eat two or three in one go to get the fullest flavour out of them but this wasn't a problem.

I really enjoyed this and although they did leave me with a slightly odd aftertaste in my mouth, I will purchase them again.
