Inside the tin I was really pleased to find such a thick mixture the first time I tried it. I've had it twice more since and every time there's been a good, thick dollop of bombay potato inside the ring-pull can. For the price, I was surprised to find such a thick mixture. As well as lots of generous potato chunks there's also a thick, spicy curry sauce along with lots of little onion slithers.

Tesco Bombay Potato in a tin costs only 65p at the moment. When I first picked it up a few weeks ago it cost closer to 80p so it's good to see prices going in the right direction for a change! For 65p you get a 400g tin which is plenty for a big dinner for one, or enough to share around with a small group if you're using it as a side dish. To heat it up, just pour it into a microwave bowl, put a bit of kitchen towel over the top and nuke it for four or five minutes, stirring once in the middle. Easy stuff.
