... but I can't help but not care about that a whole lot. I don't care if something is 'authentic' or not. All I care about is that it's tasty! But if you are looking for an authentic taste of India, this might not be top of your shopping list. Each pot goes in the microwave to heat up for a couple of minutes, then comes out ready to serve. Tesco Bombay Potato costs £1.17 for a 300g pot from the chilled section in Tesco. They do some great bits in the chilled ready meal section for take-away style meals on the cheap. This is great served with a selection of curry, rice, naan bread and Indian snacks like onion bahjjis and samosas. I tend to get a different mix everytime we have one of these kinds of meals, but nearly always wind up with Bombay Potato as it's my favourite side dish.
