 ... salty as well and even though it didn't actually taste of salt it had a weird aftertaste like pure salt water and left my mouth feeling like I'd gargled with salt water after a tooth infection. I only ate about 4 forks of the Snack Pot because the taste and feel of it in my mouth made me feel a bit sick. I don't know why Tesco sell these and even though they're quite cheap they're still mega expensive for something that should be sold for pennys in the Value range....more

For my lunch today I had the most disgusting thing I've ever brought from Tesco and that was a Cheese and Ham Pasta Snack Pot that cost about 60p. It's like a Pot Noodle only with little tubes of pasta instead of noodles, you make it up with boiling water in the same way and have to leave it to stand for a bit so the pasta soaks the water up and goes soft. I got it because I thought it would be a nice change from sandwiches and soup and also because cheese and ham is my favourite flavour of a lot of foods so I thought I'd really like this. A couple of weeks back I bought several different Tesco 'Snack in a Pot' meals, as I thought they would be handy to take to work as something hot to eat, rather than my usual sandwiches. Basically this is a plastic pot containing a cheese and ham pasta snack. The pot is white, with a purple peel-off lid, showing a picture of the finished product. To make the snack up, you simply peel back the lid, fill the tub with boiling water up to the line indicated, stir well, re-cover and leave for 5 minutes.
