I tend to stock up on these instant pasta and sauce packets from Tesco, as there a cheap and easy meal. The cheese and ham variety is my favourite from the range. The pasta can be cooked in the microwave or on the hob. I always cook on the hob though, as when I have micro waved the pasta before the pasta is always over cooked and the sauce does not thicken and is watery. The taste is impaired in my view when micro waved and never tastes as good as when cooked on the hob. It does require more effort on your part to cook the pasta on the hob and you have to constantly stir the pasta to keep it sticking on your pan. So making your quick and easy pasta ... My wife for some reason best known to her came home with a bright yellow bag containing Tesco cheese and ham pasta delight; let me tell you something, there was no delight attached to it as far as I am concerned. Normally I would never have touched this stuff but after a good few drinks one night I was looking for something quick, easy and a bit better for me than phoning the local pizza parlour, so I grabbed the bag out of the cupboard, read the simple cooking instructions and set about making this so called delight. If you have read any of my other reviews you'll know that I'm a great fan of Tesco and their many own brand products. This cheese and ham pasta delight is just another example of what a great quality selection is available at lower prices. The packaging for this flavour is a lovely sunny yellow which instantly draws your attention to it and quite simply shows the product served on a plate. This variety is made up of pasta tubes which are covered in a gorgeous creamy cheese sauce with pieces of reformed ham through it.
