I am sitting eating this flatbread as I write this review - it is delicious, so I might be a while writing this review, fitting sentences between mouthfulls. . . . OK I have actually decided to finish the bread first before attempting the review. I sill have the wonderful flavour in my senses, but I am going to start at the beginning - price and packaging. This cost just over a quid. Not quite a bargain, but not too expensive for a treat. The packaging is a plastic 'envelope' as you might expect. The first thing that caught my eye was the serving suggestion picture. Yes, you can see that they suggest serving this with a salad, ... Read the complete review

Cheese & tomato flatbreads are a slightly healthier alternative to pizzas available from Tesco's. They're made of a soft bread base with a thin layer f tomato sauce and then a small amount of mature chaddar cheese on top. Although there isn't a lot of cheese, there is enough to provide a nice chessey flavour. They are available in the bread isle in Tesco's, and have a shelf life of a couple of days from whe they are purchased. I tend to keep mine in the frifge. Another bonus of the flat breads is that can be frozen and then used within a month. You pop them on a baking tray and heat them in the oven for 5-6 minutes if they are fresh, or 8-9 ... I warmed it up to have with a salad, my brother was due to pop in so I had it ready for when he got here and we had a spot of lunch. I must admit I was very impressed, while I can't say it tastes exactly of pizza there's a rich flavour to the flatbread that makes it an extremely filling and tasty part of a meal. The bread is very doughy, it's quite thin towards the centre but gradually gets thicker as it spreads outwards. The ... Read the complete review

I have just finished my third flatbread, YUM! and feel I ought to share the experience. At the moment Tesco are selling it for £1, which is a bonus. I have not found this particular delicious bread (to the same quality) in any other supermarket - Asda and Morissons being the prime examples! Now, about the actual bread, it's handshaped (none of this template stuff) topped with tomato sauce (which gives the bread a slightly tangy taste) and delcious, melt in the mouth consistency cheddar cheese. The aroma you get from it, espcecially aftre just heating is like that of a pizza - for less calories! I must admit that I didn't quite follow the serving suggestion, ... Read the complete review
