Vanilla with swirls of cherries Cherrylicious.

This is the ice cream my husband recently bought 2 tubs of . They cost £1.59 for 1 tub or £3 from Tesco’s for the two tubs on an offer.

This ice cream comes in plastic rectangular with rounded edged see through tubs weighing 1 litre. I spy through the tub and see vanilla ice cream with swirls of red cherry sauce rippled through the ice cream. The ice cream has been piped into the tubas the top of the ice cream has peaks. It is very attractive.

It’s a hot sunny June day I have just finished work I can’t wait to try it. So I get a bowl out of the cupboard and find a spoon open the tub and spoon myself a few spoonfuls of ice cream into a bowl.
I can smell a slight sweet cherry smell

The ice cream is vanilla with swirls of cherry sauce throughout it like red veins. On the top of the ice cream there are some whole cherries.

The ice cream is quite a soft ice cream easy to serve. I taste first a mouthful of the vanilla. It is a soft creamy vanilla tasting ice cream quite sweet creamy and nice.

Next a spoonful of cherry sauce it is very sweet and rich does taste of cherry.
Next I pop one of the several real cherries in my mouth it is a glace cherry; taste sweet and a little artificial.
I quite like glace cherries so that’s fine.

I eat a couple more spoonfuls and think this is a nice ice cream. It gets very soft, melts quickly and I mix the cherry sauce into the vanilla ice cream.
The ice cream mixed is a very sweet intense flavour slightly artificial, but I do like it.

Fortunately I have only a small serving as I think it would be too sweet if I had a large serving maybe that’s just as well as it has many calories 121 cal per 100ml.

I am sure I will buy more of this ice cream this summer .
