      Yummy, Yummy, Yummy!!!

These £1.00 sandwiches from Tesco are brill and I've eaten quite a lot of them recently because it's LOADS cheaper than popping into Mcdonalds after the shopping and tastes nicer as well! I hadn't tried this Chicken And Sweetcorn one before and only brought it because it was quite late when I went shopping yesterday and there wasn't much choice left in the sandwich fridge.

It's actually chicken mayo with sweetcorn mixed in and I think they should have made this a bit plainer on the packet because even though you can kind of see the mayo in the sandwich, if you're like me and just grab something without looking properly then you might be a bit disappointed if you're expecting plain roast chicken.

I thought it was delish though, there was more chicken than I was expecting for £1.00 and Tesco have used just the right amount of mayo to make the filling nice and moist but you can still taste the chicken through it.

The chicken is very soft and is cooked nicely, it's probably not the best quality chicken with this sandwich being so cheap but it deffo tastes delish! It's in small pieces and that makes it go proper nice with the mayo, the mayo tastes like Hellmans by the way so it's deffo not a bad quality tasteless mayo.

There isn't all that much sweetcorn in the filling and I only got about one piece of sweetcorn in every bite. That's a shame because it meant the delish cool flavour of the sweetcorn wasn't there as strong as I wanted it to be.

The bread they have used for this sandwich is wheatgerm and that's kind of a cross between white and brown bread. It was mega soft and hadn't gone soggy or anything even though it had a mayo filling, there was no butter on the sandwich and I was glad about that because I'm not mad keen on butter with cold fillings and you don't need it when you've got mayo on your sandwich anyway.

There is quite a lot of filling in the sandwich considering how cheap it was, it's thinner at the back but that's the same as all these supermarket sandwiches because they pull most of the filling to the front to make it look more packed than it is. I don't mind that on a £1.00 sandwich but it does my head in when they do it on butties that cost over £3.00!

Recommended..... a cheap and mega delish sandwich!!!
