Tesco Chocolate Coins

Chocolate coins are made and sold by many companies. They are ideal to add as chocolate stocking filler or use as a cake decoration. I bought some chocolate coins at Tesco for the children in my family this year. I had earlier bought co-op chocolate coins for my children at school.I wrote a review on the co-op ones a while ago. I have chocolate coins in my stocking every year, yes i still have a stocking... and they are usually from tescos as this is where our family shops. They are relitivly cheap, and although they do not taste like thorntons chocolate, they taste good, not like cheap over sweetened chocolate that you often get in supermarket own brands. They come in 3 different sizes, in net bags which as a smaller child i used to find very hard to open. Now however i have stronger hands. I've been buying my little sisters the chocolate coins from Tesco because they are on buy one get one free a lot and are quite cheap anyway, I think they're a nice treat for them because they're both getting mega excited about Christmas now. I've already reviewed the white chocolate coins that I've been buying for my 2 year old sister, but my other sister is 10 and so I've been getting her the milk chocolate ones. I saw these recently and I couldn't resist but to buy a few packets as I love eating them and giving them away in Christmas cards and sharing with friends!! ~~~PACKAGING~~~ About two dozen coins are packed into a netting bag with a label, which is nice, although not amazingly presentational. I personally cut off the plastic netting and display the coins in a nice sweet box or something similar. The gold foil wrapping the chocolate is very nice and makes nice decorative, yet delicious festive confectionary! HOWEVER, they do use a lot of foil don't they! I bought these Tesco chocolate coins in Tesco a few days ago. Its depressing that all the supermarkets have christmas things for sale in September! To cheer myself up, i decided to buy these as a little treat to have with a cup of tea. They were on a buy one get one free offer and cost £1.20 so i got two packs for this price. They some in a little net bag, similar to the ones you would buy oranges in. They have a picture of a reindeer on the label and would be great little stocking fillers for kids.
